Gilda Swann

Gilda has worked in commercial banking and with large financing companies since 1979. She has worked with a wide range of assets, from auto leasing to complex real estate loans. This strong foundation empowers her to work with the wide variety of projects the 504 SBA program can finance. Business and college courses keep her up to date.

Gilda has always been rewarded by being the person co-workers can come to with confidence for answers and has trained co-workers and new managers alike.

Gilda recalls, "I have enjoyed the challenges that are the true backbone of commercial lending. Working with my peers to find the right solution and having our borrowers receive the funding for their dreams is truly worth the journey."

If you were to start your own small business, what would it be?

I would like to own a florist with a gift shop that caters to everyone from small children to adults - maybe with a day spa in the second half of the building so that my customers also have the option of doing something special for themselves as well.

What do you like most about working for Evergreen?

This is a very strong company with ties to the community. All of us work very hard to make sure that our business partners and borrowers receive the best that we can do for them.
