Joseph P. Cowles

Employee Spotlight:

Joseph was raised in Eugene, Oregon and is the youngest of eleven children. His greatest hobbies are experiencing other cultures and playing sports. In high school, he was a Rotary foreign exchange student in Brazil for one year and he speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English. In college, his undergraduate degree was in education and he was a javelin thrower in Track and Field.  Since then, he has furthered his education with a Master's degree in Business Administration and he has enjoyed successful careers with the Coca-Cola Company, American Express Corporate Services and US Bank. His decision to join the Evergreen Business Capital family was due to our vision to stimulate entrepreneurism, help create jobs and provide stability within our communities. He loves where he lives and likes to make a difference. 

If you were to start your own small business, what would it be?

"If I were to start my own business it would be in Ecotourism.  I'd love to have the opportunity to share my passion for travel and experiencing other parts of the world with others." 

What do you like most about working for Evergreen?

"What I like most about working for Evergreen is our mission to enhance Small Business growth within our communities."
