Taylor & Sons Chevrolet, a franchised new Chevrolet dealer serving the greater N.E. Washington, Northern Idaho and N.W. Montana areas of responsibility, is owned by Greg, Laurel and son, Brett Taylor. As well as selling and servicing Chevrolet vehicles the dealership also sells and services a wide variety of pre-owned vehicles from their new GM image facility which employs factory trained technicians and features a well-stocked parts department.
Originally established in downtown Sandpoint, ID in 1929 the Taylor's outgrew their previous location and relocated to a three plus acre site that they already owned, with added visibility next to the new Hwy 95 byway.
The project required a 15% borrower injection due to the special purpose service facility including in ground vehicle lifts.
Taylor & Sons Chevrolet has made application for LEED certification which they hope to receive shortly. When granted this should be the first LEED Certified franchised new vehicle dealership in Idaho, and one of the first Chevrolet LEED facilities in the U.S. LEED certification is a prestigious designation granted by the U.S. Green Building Council and is the nationally recognized standard for evaluating that the building project is truly green.
